​Here are 10 tips to owning your Role Plays!

1. BE CONFIDENT!- When judges see your confidence they’re more likely to believe in what you’re saying!
2. STUDY STUDY STUDY- Make sure to study all DECA vocabulary amongst your cluster of choice
3. Know your performance indicators- Study these prior because they are very likely to occur on your role play
4. Practice in front of a variety of people- Practice in front of friends, family, and business professionals
5. Dress professional
6. Make sure to have a strong opening and closing!
7. CLOSE THE DEAL! Don’t walk away without making business!
8. Know your role! Make sure you assume the role of the person that your role play gives you. Never break character!
9. Make sure to be organized in your planning time for your role play
10. NEVER FORGET YOUR DECA BLAZER!
