When at a conference, you attend as a member of the team. If you chapter requests your presence you must clear it with Florida DECA
Team members loose the free time at conferences to plan, practice and prepare
A chapter officer or advisor asks you questions about funding and/or Carl Perkins Funds you should refer them to their District Advisor
Not all chapters or districts do things the same way. Do NOT assume things are the same as your chapter and/or district. Research!
A chapter officer asks you to speak to members about non-competition field trips, you MUST speak to the chapter advisor first.
If you have an issue with a deadline YOU should email your officer coordinators.
Your chapter advisor is a support to you but as for your role as a Florida DECA officer you report to the officer coordinators, Mrs. DeLeonardo AND Mr. Hosier.
If you loose your nametag, you should email your officer coordinators as soon as you discover it missing. DO NOT wait until conference time.
