Hey Florida DECA!
I’m Michael Stone, a junior at Cooper City High School and one of Florida DECA’s Vice Presidents. As I begin my junior year the pressure of college really begins to set in. On top of my classes, DECA and other clubs, I have to prepare for the daunting SAT and ACT.
Even though it seems like I have a lot on my plate I always make time for some fun! I love hanging out with my friends and family and playing basketball. Now that football season is back, I dedicate much of my Sundays to Dolphin football! I’ve managed to combine DECA and football by playing in fantasy football leagues with DECA members from around the state, and around the country. Could it get any better?
Since being elected last March I’ve realized what an amazing opportunity I’m in as a student leader of Florida DECA. Already I’ve gotten to see how welcoming and kind chapters around the state, like Miami Springs and Coral Glades, have been during chapter visits. As I meet more and more members, whether in person or online, I see what an exceptional organization Florida DECA is. This year, I’m here to help you, your chapters and this organization MAKE IT COUNT!
